Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!

Ok, here we go.  You have choices now and it is more important than before to coordinate with your pals and decide together which parties are better for you. No matter what parties you go to you will have a good time, but you may want to pick the sets of parties that are better suited to your party styles. Both parties will be a success. Period.

In a nut shell, you have two choices :  Clubskirts or Girlbar.  Women On A Roll is taking a break this year!  It is hard to compete with these two giants.  The fact that WOAR is out of the picture brings an interesting factor into the mix.  Where are their customers going... bets are on GirlBar since they are both located in L.A. and the party styles may be more fitting.

Clubskirts Parties can easily be described as "Off The Hook", we are talking major partying here people! Wild crazy times are in store for you, complete with dildo wearing drunkita's, naughty sexy dancers and young BOI toys!  It seems that ClubSkirts parties may be bringing in a younger wilder crowd.  Not that there aren't ladies of all ages that love to party there, it just seems to be a less mature crowd.

The line up is spectacular. ClubSkirts does have an advantage of having a partnership of sorts with PlanetOut.  They are able to bring in some bigger name comedians, Sandra Bernhard, HELLO, the very great Linda Perry who is responsible for so many famous performers successes, as well as some of the cast from the L Word, which is always a    crowd pleaser.

The parties are at the Doral which is quite a bit off the beaten path from Downtown and if you aren't staying at the Doral you have to get on the bus (takes forever) to get to the party.  It can be a bit of a dud.  While the party is going on all night and day long at the Doral, you may feel left out at the other hotels which are located Downtown.

GirlBar Parties are planned in "Epic Proportions" and you can tell that theater is   somewhere in the back of Sandy Sachs personality.  The stages and sets are just dynamic and very well planned.  The crowd seems to be a bit more "mature", if that is a good thing or bad thing is totally up to you.  They are L.A. chic minus The L Word appearances. They are the real deal, here folks. 

Xena lesbian fans will love this years line up as Lucy Lawless, the Warrior Princess herself will be performing and a repeat performance by Carmen Electra is sure to be a crowd pleaser.  GirlBar tends to have several events happening at once which can be a very welcoming thing.  While the main ballroom has a DJ spinning the latest craze, they may have Karaoke or Latin music going on in another room, you are always on the move. There is a bit of variety.  It is GirlBars good fortune of having their main event to be held at the Convention Center.  This means much more room, more side entertainment and less lines!

Also what is good about Girlbar Parties is that they pretty much are all located in the Downtown area within walking distance.  No hopping on a bus Gus, the party is pretty much happening all ding darn day long!
