The River Heaven Retreat is a privately owned vacation cottage located approximately one mile from downtown Guerneville on Old El Monte Road, which is a narrow road across the street from the river. The cottage itself accommodates up to ten people, has two bathrooms, a kitchen and dining room and also has a private jacuzzi area. While it can sleep up to ten people, within the private nooks you will find throuout the home, privacy is not hard to find. This is a very romantic place.

What sets the River Heaven Retreat apart from the typical accommodations in Guerneville is how charming it is decorated. Every detail is well thought out in a Disney type fashion. It is truly a "Kincaid" like cottage complete with ambiance lighting, stain glass windows and ivy.

There is a private covered patio downstairs at the entry way, a beautifully decorated garden room which is decorated in white wicker furniture and red parlor room leading to the next level the outside jacuzzi area and another separate cottage which sleeps two. The entire property is decorated in antique furniture and each room has a theme.

The gardens are plush and well kept and go along with the "Kincaid" theme.

In the neighborhood, there are many homes being worked on and unfortunately neighbors tend to leave their garbage out on the road, but that  is not at all, a reflection on the River Heaven Retreat property, which is beautifully kept.  Being that the property is on a narrow street the parking in the area is an issue, but is easily worked out.  

This is a great retreat for any group of women.... and the prices are very affordable.
