Out
of all the hotels that we say out throughout the year, and
honestly since LBO has been reviewing lesbian friendly accommodations,
we all agree that the Peppertree has come to the top of
our lists as our #1 favorite, and once again they exceeded
what we expected in 2005.
Now
let us tell you why.....
If
we were to summarize The PepperTree Inn in one word, that
word would be "Charming".
The
location cannot be beat, especially if you
are coming to attend the womens events. Located right on
the strip and a block away from the village. Within
walking distance of so many excellent restaurants, bars
and shopping, but most importantly the other hotels which
will be inundated with very young, very rowdy crowds attending
the parties. So if you like to attend the festivities, yet
would actually like to sleep at night, the Peppertree is
perfect. But you will want to keep in mind that in order
to accomodate all guests, late night parties in your room
is not recommended.
This
boutique hotel is just beautifully decorated
throughout. The New Mexican architecture is
consistent from throughout the grounds. The fountains are
very complimenting and are a very classy touch. With
the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains towering overhead
it makes for a very nice relaxing retreat at the pool. There
is a lot to enjoy at this hotel.
The
staff is absolutely wonderful and accomodating
and they obviously all work very hard. Each year we visit,
we notice additions and added features the staff has made
to make the Peppertree more accomodating. This year
they have added plush colorful Beach towels, in addition
to their amenities baskets they have added suncreen?? and
even though they have the breakfast table in the morning
they have also added in room coffee, which are not the low
quality packets you will find at bigger hotel chains.
We are told that in the next few months (around June) the
staff is planning to have Friday afternoon Martini hour
at poolside for their guests, complete with apple-tini's
and even chocoa-tini's!
Also
worth mentioning is that the hotel offers spa
treatment & massage therapy!
And
I am told that the therapist is wonderful!
Even
the rooms go along with the decor
right down to the lighting fixtures and the room that LBO
stayed in was huge! The rooms are very clean, the towels
are heavier and larger then many similar hotels and most
rooms come with either a jacuzzi bath or fireplace and some
have large private patio's. No two rooms are exactly
alike and some of the smaller rooms are much smaller.
While most of the guests were extremely
pleased
and felt the pricing was fair other guests
(perhaps
in the smaller rooms) did not.
We
absolutely enjoyed our stay and give it a thumbs up.
We will be returning!
Also if you are concerned about the price, which is reasonable
and comprable, let us tell you when you leave you will feel
it was well worth it.
