is one of the most divers cities in the world and like all
major metropolitain area's it has it's gay district in Chelsea,
Manhatten (the birthplace of Stonewall and the GLBT rights
campaign), which has the widest selection of gay & lesbian
clubs in one area of New York. Lesbians however tend
to frequent the area around Christopher Street in the West
Village and also Park Slope in Brooklyn.
